Even if it is no longer a novelty, a detailed review of the FMS ASW-17 is very useful to know all about the product, its stong points and those that could be improved.

In a very detailed test, Jean-Louis Coussot (who was chief-editor of Fly International magazine in the past) presents this glider to us in great details.

Many pictures, grouped by theme in slideshows, accompany a text as extensive as what is found in specialized magazines.

Highlight of this test, two tables of settings are proposed, one called "simple" for those who do not want to do heavy programming, and the other called "advanced" with all that can be done with flight modes and mixes to get the best performance level from the A1SW-17.

The author finds the assembly of the wings a bit complex and too adjusted, but he was obviously seduced by the performance of this glider which, although made of foam, allows very long flights and can perform also convincing aerobatics.
