Once again Arthur from the Arthur RC YouTube channel presents a new FMS model, due to arrive at the end of September 2023, the Futura in its 64 mm EDF version.


There are two videos devoted to this model, one showing the kit and its assembly, and the other showing the aircraft in flight.


Opening the box and assembly

The contents of the kit are described in detail, and Arthur assembles it 'live' just under our eyes. We see the fixed, but damped, metal landing gear, the flaps, and the brushless controller with its 'Reverse' function, very useful for stopping short on runways of limited length. Even the radio programming is detailed.

In flight: a very friendly Jet!

After the first few seconds of flight, during which trims were fine-tuned, Arthur had a great time at the controls of his little Jet and demonstrated the aerobatic capabilities of the Futura 64 mm EDF, flying loops, barrels and even negative spin during the very first flight. And the langding using reverse couldn't be more demonstrative!



With a size that's easy to transport and a battery that's economical, this 64 mm EDF Futura is a great way to get started with electric jets. Available in three colours, it's going to be a big hit on the ground alongside the little Rafale from FMS!
