Derbee’s Skyraider A1

Pocket Warbird!

Tested by Charly Bordier and photographed by his brother Rémy, the Derbee Skyraider clearly won over this team of Modèle magazine testers. Its quick and easy assembly, its amazing flying qualities for such an accurate and fully weaponised model, and its inimitable look are all perfectly highlighted in this test.

The only constructive criticism: the stab is not quite straight out of the box, and the JST battery connector deserves to be replaced by an XT30 model, better able to handle the power of the small brushless motor.

As for the rest, it's clear that our tester had a lot of fun flying this mini-warbird, which he found very realistic, which is rare for models of this scale. In the conclusion we read: "The Sky is very affordable, even for average pilots" and "Suffice it to say that this first model clearly makes us want to test the other two!
