Yann Moindrot tested himself this Fox and he was pleasantly surprised by the flying qualities of this aerobatic glider with unusual volumes for a foam sailplane. We can see him lanching the Fox from the editorial page.

Available for a quite long time, this big Fox has unique features, such as its fuselage with easily removable rear part for easy storage and transport. And in the field, it assembles in a very short time, and without the slightest screw!

Some excerpts from the text:

  • With its 3 meter wingspan, and especially its bulky fuselage, it is one of the largest foam gliders on the market.
  • Fully removable without any tools, this large glider is easy to transport and store.
  • The quality of the molding is excellent: the surface finish is superb and, for example, the trailing edge of the wings is perfectly straight.
  • The assembly is done without any gluing or screwing, and could be done directly in the field.
  • The power is not lacking and if the Fox does not climb vertically indefinitely, it is not far from it and it can sustain a continuous slope of about 70 °.
  • After a dive, the energy returns is average, but there is enougth to make cleanl aerobatic maneuvers.
  • With the motor off, the minimum sink rate is quite low and the Fox glide well.
  • It must be admitted, this Fox is a real good surprise. It is very pleasant to fly and has a good presence in flight.
