On his website dedicated to all forms of aviation (full-scale flight, simulation and RC aeromodeling), Jean-Louis Coussot, who was the chief-editor of FLY International magazine, reviews Derbee's Douglas 1-1 Skyraider. Kit contents, assembly, settings and flight test, everything is ultra-detailed!

The test begins by presenting the Derbee brand and its range of mini warbirds.

"If curiosity pushed me to buy this little Derbee's Skyraider, the flight tests literally won me over! In terms of manufacturing, I admit that we are not at the quality level of an FMS kit, but the really very low price of this kit means that we have nothing to complain about it. The value for money is downright good. Assembly is quick and without the slightest difficulty.

And above all, the flight qualities are astonishing for a mini scale model so detailled! Really fun to fly, the "Baby Skyraider" can also fly quite "scale" as long as you try to fly it as smoothly as possible. Easy and flawless, it can be flown by any modeler with experience of a trainer with ailerons and mastering basic aerobatics.

What's more, its price puts it within the reach of many, which in these somewhat "tense" times is no mean feat.

Let us add that it can be transported fully assembled on the back seat of a car or on the parcel shelf, and that once at home, hanging it on the wall can make it a decorative element as it is so beautiful to look at..."
