The V2 version of the FMS 1400mm Pitts is reviewed for Model Magazine by Jean-Louis Coussot, who details this aircraft which has entered the legend of aerobatic aircraft history. No less than 8 pages are devoted to it. And we heard that a sequel is planned, with beyond the test, some cosmetic enhancements easy to achieve ... We look forward to this second part!

"No glue required, the Pitts just assembles with a few screws and parts that snap into their brackets.

In half an hour, the case is settled and our Pitts shows his wide volumes. It must be said that with its fuselage almost 20 cm wide, it is imposing!

The first good surprise comes on takeoff. I was expecting a difficult plane to keep in line, and if it requires a little care, the Pitts is actually pretty easy.

... I must admit that I was very pleasantly surprised by the behavior of the FMS Pitts! Although I had this irresistible urge to taste this legend, I expected to have to hold a tiger by the tail. We are far from this and this plane is not a bad boy!

He shows faults, he even seems to have fun adding little surprises from time to time, but he is very forgiving.

FMS made a "true" Pitts, with the spirit of the full size aircraft, and it's an endearing plane that never go unnoticed "
