Integrated Design
The Fusion 8IGHT is the industry’s first Field-Oriented Control (FOC) integrated power system, specifically designed for1/8th scale models. Its compact frame layout measures 42×69mm, making it a powerful yet space-efficient solution for builders. The integrated design creates an ultra easy to install system, that makes for an extremely clean setup.
4S High Power Crawling ESC
The ESC is designed to support up to

- The Fusion 8IGHT is based on an 1/8th scale sized motor, but packs the performance to power large scale trucks and builds that require more than average crawling power.
Adjust Drag Brake Force in Real Time
Connect the yellow signal wire to an available channel on the receiver to enable real-time adjustments of the drag brake from your radio.

FOC Drive, Throttle Linearity, High Torque, Nearly Silent
The Fusion 8IGHT is a FOC brushless system. Hobbywing’s unique Field-Oriented-Control (FOC) provides ultra smooth control, while providing response and feel that is 2nd to none. Not only is the Hobbywing FOC tech extremely smooth and powerful, it provides nearly silent operation and an amazing overall driving experience.
Smart Torque - Easy to Drive - Amazingly Smooth
Ascents, and climbs : The ESC intelligently adjusts torque output to match driving conditions, automatically increasing torque to overcome resistance and accelerate uphill.
Decents : Reducing torque to stabilise vehicle speed when descending. This smart torque management ensures precise speed control and smooth performance, delivering a consistently responsive driving experience.
Note: When operating in normal mode, the ESC does not have a fixed speed function, providing a driving experience similar to that of a traditional brushed motor.
Applicable to All Weather & Track Conditions
- The entire power system is rated IP67, offering outstanding waterproof and dust-proof performance.
- This robust protection allows it to tackle challenging terrains such as sand, ice, snow, and water, ensuring reliable operation in diverse climatic conditions.
- Note: The IP67 protection level mentioned above provides splash-proof, water-resistant, and dust-proof capabilities under normal use. However, it is not permanently effective, as protective performance may diminish over time due to regular wear and aging. Avoid prolonged immersion in water, as it may result in product damage.
Super Internal BEC
- The Fusion 8IGHT features a built-in high-performance BEC with a maximum output current of 13A
- Adjustable output voltages of 6V/7.4V/8.4V
- This flexibility allows it to effortlessly power a wide range of standard and high-voltage servos, as well as peripheral electronic devices such as light sets and winches.

The system supports multiple operating modes to meet various application needs.
- Fixed Speed Mode (direct forward and reverse)
- Normal Mode (forward and reverse with brake)
- Normal Mode without fixed speed functionality
